Veterinary and human vaccinology course, Bangkok, Thailand
The GCRF Vaccine Networks (IVVN, BactiVac, HIC-Vac, IMPRINT & VALIDATE) are running a veterinary and human vaccinology course in association with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (UN FAO), through the European Commission for the Control of Foot and Mouth Disease (EuFMD), from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th December 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand. The IVVN will sponsor 20 scholarships for post-graduate students and early career researchers from the UK & ASEAN countries to attend the course.

3rd International Symposium on Alternatives to Antibiotics, Bangkok, Thailand, 16-18 December 2019
The objectives of this 2nd International Symposium are to highlight promising research results and novel technologies that provide alternatives to antibiotics for use in animal health and production, assess challenges associated with their commercialization and use, and provide actionable strategies to support their development. The symposium will focus on five product categories that could reduce the use of medically important antibiotics in animal health and production: 1) vaccines; 2) microbial-derived products; 3) phytochemicals; 4) immune-derived products; and 5) chemicals.
