PROCINORTE 2022 Call for Proposal – African Swine Fever & Classical Swine Fever

PROCINORTE is now supporting research collaboration efforts between international government scientists (lead applicants) with a specific emphasis on priority research projects of mutual interest in both African Swine Fever (ASF) and Classical Swine Fever (CSF). The call will optimize the collaboration and knowledge sharing to protect animal health and enhance members’ collective capabilities.

This year, the 2022 PROCINORTE grant applications will be accepted for:

(1) International Scientific Training and Exchanges, up to US$25,000, to be considered and granted for up to 4 weeks and must occur in the current calendar year;

(2) Research Collaborations, up to US$50,000, which can cover 2 calendar years though must be completed by the end of 2023.

Please note funds cannot be provided to USDA scientists, nor the private sector, though US government scientists may be the lead applicant. Responses will depend on the number of applications received and the quality of the applications.
