The Immunological Toolbox launched

The Immunological Toolbox website was launched at the International Veterinary Immunology Symposium in Seattle last week: https://www.immunologicaltoolbox.co.uk/ . It is a repository of antibodies, other reagents and resources to promote research into veterinary immunology. The aim of the Toolbox is to remove barriers to veterinary vaccine development by facilitating information exchange and collaboration within a curated platform. This website has been based on the needs expressed by the immunological research community during four dedicated workshops. The primary aim is to act as the central repository to store information on the location, supply and applicability of veterinary immune reagents and associated methods. It is relying on the research community to provide verifiable information on existing reagents, including a rating, as well as those under development. This website also acts as the entry point to request the development of new reagents and production of recombinant antibodies through the UK Immunological Toolbox. The project is a collaboration between The Pirbright Institute, The Roslin Institute, and UKRI-BBSRC.
