Healthy (organic) pigs in Germany – Bioland Beratung GmbH (GeSchwInD)

The project ‘Healthy (organic) pigs in Germany’ (GeSchwInD) aims to further develop organic pig farming in Germany. As part of the project, health problems in organic pig herds are to be addressed. In addition to the examination of pigs, the focus of the activities is particularly on humans and their influence on animal health. In a process moderated by the advisory service, the exchange of experience and solutions to problems will be worked on in Stable Schools. Close scientific support promotes the derivation of findings and ensures transferability to other farms. As a further link between science and practice, findings are transferred to professional training.
