Senior PhD researcher currently working in the Aquaculture and Animal Health research group at CSIR. Specialising in next generation vaccine development and expression of protein-based vaccines and therapeutics in various expression systems, including mammalian, insect and plant-based systems. Skilled in molecular biology, biotechnology, cell culture, protein purification as well as transient plant expression techniques. Recent publications have been in the veterinary vaccine development field but current projects also include development of antibody-based therapeutics, biosimilars as well as originator molecules, against human cancers.
