I am a veterinary immunologist with an interest in understanding mechanisms of protective immunity and its application to vaccine development. I lead the Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Immunology Research Group and the Institute Strategic Programme 'Host Responses to Viral Infection' at The Pirbright Institute (www.pirbright.ac.uk). I am also the Co-Director of the International Veterinary Vaccinology Network (www.intvetvaccnet.co.uk).
