STAR IDAZ Innovation Academy Webinars Now Available on YouTube

STAR IDAZ is pleased to announce that all four European Innovation Academy webinars, delivered between November 2025 and January 2026, are now available to watch on demand via the new STAR IDAZ YouTube channel.

The Innovation Academy webinar series is designed to support the global animal&D animal health research community in progressing from discovery to delivery, by sharing practical insights from academia, industry, and innovation initiatives.

European Innovation Academy Webinar Series

The European series brought together leading experts to explore how research can be translated into real-world impact for animal health:

  • Using STAR IDAZ research roadmaps to connect science and impact
    19 November 2025 (13:00–14:00 GMT)
    Prof. Gary Entrican
    An introduction to using STAR IDAZ research roadmaps as tools to align scientific discovery with impact-driven outcomes.
  • Defining target areas with high need for innovation using DISCONTOOLS
    3 December 2025 (16:00–17:00 CET / 15:00–16:00 GMT)

    A practical session on identifying priority areas for innovation using the DISCONTOOLS platform.
  • Facilitating discovery to innovation in animal health

The STAR IDAZ Innovation Academy is aimed at researchers, funders, and research managers who want to strengthen pathways from scientific ideas to practical solutions for animal health challenges.

All four European webinars are now available to watch on demand via the STAR IDAZ YouTube channel, allowing participants to revisit sessions or catch up at a time that suits them.

Upcoming Regional Innovation Academy Webinars

Building on the success of the European series, further STAR IDAZ Innovation Academy webinars will be announced for additional regions, including:

  • Africa and the Middle East
  • Americas
  • Asia and Australasia

These regional editions will continue to support innovation-focused dialogue tailored to regional priorities and contexts.
