Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership

Scope

36-month transnational R&I projects addressing one of four priority areas: transitioning blue-economy sectors for sustainability and strategic autonomy; digital and ecosystem-based management of sea uses; sustainable blue bioresources and innovation in marine production and harvesting; and resilient coastal communities, infrastructure and businesses. The call may therefore offer opportunities for research contributing to sustainable and resilient aquaculture systems, depending on the relevant national funding rules.

Regions: 28 participating countries, including EU Member States and Associated Countries, as well as Brazil and Tunisia. Consortia must include eligible partners requesting funding from at least three participating countries/funding organisations. Partners from other countries may participate on a self-funded basis.
