I am an aquatic animal health and aquaculture specialist with over 15 years of progressive experience in the field. I have led and contributed to multidisciplinary programs tackling antimicrobial resistance (AMR) at the human-animal-environment interface, with a strong focus on the aquaculture sector in South Asia. This includes involvement in the CGIAR Initiative on One Health and the AMROH-SA project under the Fleming Fund Regional Grant. My work spans strategic planning, applied research, surveillance protocol development, stakeholder engagement, and policy advocacy, primarily aimed at promoting responsible antimicrobial use (AMU) and reducing AMR risks in aquaculture and interconnected food systems.
