Head of the Immuno-Reproduction Lab at Nord University, focusing on developmental immunity in vertebrates, primarily using fish models, and their interactions with microorganisms. His recent work explores the role of immunity in reproductive processes. He is actively engaged in both academic and administrative responsibilities. Currently, he serves as President of the International Society of Fish & Shellfish Immunology (ISFSI), EiC of Aquaculture (Elsevier), and Board Member of IUIS-VIC.
