My name is Hafiz Muhammad Aamir Farooq, and I am a Microbiologist and Senior Lecturer/Coordinator from Pakistan. I hold an M.Phil. in Microbiology and have a background in Surgical Technology. My research interests include antimicrobial resistance (AMR), bacterial infections, diabetic foot ulcers, wound healing, biomaterials, nanofibers, and natural-product-based antimicrobial therapies. I have research experience in bacterial isolation and identification, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, PCR, and electrospinning-based nanofiber fabrication. I am particularly interested in One Health, emerging infectious diseases, animal and human health, biosafety, and collaborative research. I would be interested in connecting with researchers and organizations working on AMR, infectious diseases, One Health, and innovative approaches to disease prevention and treatment.
