Profile
I am currently a researcher at INTA and CONICET, working in the Pox and Adenovirus-Vectorized Vaccines group at the Biotechnology Institute IABIMO INTA-CONICET. I am a dedicated, enthusiastic and highly motivated adjunct scientist. I can successfully carry out projects independently, collaborating within teams, and partnering with other groups. I value a supportive team environment where I can both share my expertise and learn from my colleagues. I have extensive experience in cell culture management, classical virology techniques, molecular biology, vaccine design and production (both conventional and recombinant), diagnostic methods and immune response evaluation. In our laboratory, we developed a poxviral vector platform (canarypox, fowlpox, and MVA) in Argentina and obtained several vaccines against human and veterinary pathogens (virus, bacteria and parasites). We also work with adenoviral (AdHu5-deltaE) and plasmid vectors. Throughout my career, I have been involved in the development, characterization, and transfer to private companies of Argentina of biotechnological immunogens such as a marker vaccine against bovine herpesvirus 1 (BoHV-1∆Eβgal), a non-replicative viral vectored vaccine against IBDV for poultry (R-VAC INMUNER IBD), and the patent “Chimeric polypeptide, vaccine against babesiosis, immunization methods, detection methods, and kit.” Interests. Development of vectorized vaccines for disease prevention within the One Health framework. Evaluation of the immune response and efficacy induce by the candidate vaccines in animal models (mice and rabbits) and in target animals (cattle, poultry, sheep, goats).
