STAR-IDAZ IRC at Animal Health Innovation, Latin America

STAR-IDAZ IRC will be at Animal Health Innovation: Latin America on the 6-7 August where they are hosting a special session on Shortening the innovation pipeline – focusing the research effort. Animal Health Innovation brings start-ups and biotech companies together with financial investors and established multinational veterinary pharmaceutical companies to better stimulate the growth of the animal health industry and the speed of innovation through partnerships and investment. There will be special session organized by STAR-IDAZ IRC to engage the animal health industry their research roadmaps to promote early engagement between the research community and the animal health industry. The Session includes an: Overview of STAR-IDAZ IRC; Introduction to the Research Road Maps: Vaccines, Therapeutics, Diagnostics; Discussion on engaging with the research roadmaps; ERA-Net Co-fund on Animal Health – a platform for a joint funding initiative; and a Funding panel discussion with the UK Science and Innovation Network representing the Newton Fund Innovate UK, EMBRAPA, and European Commission.
