Profile
I am a senior virology and immunology researcher who specialises in infectious diseases affecting livestock. I coordinate a Research Project under INTA’s National Animal Health Program, focusing on immunopathogenesis related to infectious agents in livestock production. I am also the Deputy Director of the INTA-CONICET Institute of Virology and Technological Innovations and an Independent Researcher at CONICET. I am a member of the Executive Committee of the Global Foot and Mouth Disease Research Alliance (GFRA) and the Argentine Society of Virology (SAV). My research areas include viral immunology, pathogenesis, vaccine development, and the innovation of diagnostic tools, particularly those related to foot-and-mouth disease (FMD).
