Regional Networks
The STAR IDAZ IRC is governed through an Executive Committee, Scientific Committees and working groups, supported by a secretariat (SIRCAH).
STAR IDAZ has four Regional Networks: Africa and Middle East; the Americas; Asia and Australasia; and Europe.
The Regional Networks aim to:
- Identify international funding opportunities
- Further discuss and agree common research priorities for the Region
- Explore the opportunities for sharing resources, including access to samples/strains of organism, specialised facilities and expertise
- Africa & Middle East Regional Network of STAR IDAZ
- Americas Regional Network of STAR IDAZ
- Asia & Australasia Regional Network of STAR IDAZ
- SCAR AH&W CWG, the European regional network of STAR-IDAZ
