Dr. Charles Nfon is the Laboratory Network Director for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s National Centres for Animal Disease (NCAD/CFIA). He oversees the laboratories in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Ottawa, Ontario and Lethbridge, Alberta, which operate at containment levels 2 to 4. These laboratories are pivotal in research and development, as well as diagnostics pertaining to foreign animal diseases and production-limiting endemic diseases.
